Actress who co-starred on Mr. and Mrs. North for ten years and as Big Sister for five years. She had appeared with Robert Benchley, Walter O’Keefe, Stoopnagle and Budd and The Mercury Theatre on the Air.  She was born August 1, 1910 and was 66 at the time of our visit in her Studio City, California home.  She died January 6, 1998 at age 87.

Daughter of Reverend John A. Frost and Helma C. Lager.
Her first husband was actor Robert Foulk. Her second husband was Howard Tuttle.
Frosts' father was a Lutheran minister in Minneapolis and did not want his daughter to enter into show business. He thought allowing her to travel in a Chautauqua would break her of wanting to follow that business. But in 1929 she left home and first traveled to Miami and then to New York looking for her big break. Her first Broadway part was in "How Green Grow the Lilacs", a Theater Guild play. After that she worked in vaudeville and then graduated to radio.
Frost first came to prominence during the 1940's as a radio performer. She was the star of the radio show, "Big Sister" and also appeared in the "Johnny Presents" and "Aunt Jenny" programs as well as being a player on the Mercury Theater group on Broadway. She also played the role of Mrs. North in the radio program "Mr & Mrs North" about a pair of amateur detectives who stumble onto a murder every week. She played this role from 1942-1954.
